We were also supposed to have our Fall Festival at church on Saturday afternoon but guess what......it was cancelled due to rain as well. I think Justin and I were really the ones truly disappointed about this because we thought Madelyn would be sad but really, all she really cared about was: "Is it finally time to go trick or treating?" and "When can I put my 50's Girl costume on?". Yep, she was just after the candy....who cares about all that other stuff!! So we loaded up and headed to Mom's house which is where we have gone every Halloween since Madelyn has been around. We always see a lot of people we know in her neighborhood and Madelyn has fun handing out candy to the HUNDREDS of trick or treaters who come by. Kaylee was also at Mom's house which made it even more fun for Madelyn!
Drew was a monkey for Halloween which we thought suited him just fine. He was a typical 11 month old during all the trick or treating....really not that into it! He mainly just wanted to play in the giant bowl of candy that Mimi had out. All in all, we had a fun night. We had a few sprinkles when we first went outside but then the sky cleared up and we saw a beautiful rainbow which was the highlight of Madelyn's night (she loves rainbows).

Loved that little tail!
Visiting our friend Evan!
We met up with Mandy, Evan and Chloe to hit a few houses together....
Madelyn seems just a bit unsure about this haunted sidewalk leading up to a house!!
Trick or treating at Lance and Lore's
The perfect end to the day!! The rainbow!

Thanks for letting Kaylee trick-or-treat with you guys. She was upset at the thoughts that she would miss it because Riley and I were going to the UT game instead. She told me all about it Sunday. She had a blast with Madi and Drew! See you guys Sunday!!!
Drew was super cute as a monkey! Madelyn was a darling 50s girl too! Thanks for sharing :)
